SETACCIO APARTMENT
Delightful independent house at the edge of the garden that
completed restoration in 2008. Located on the garden side near the
main road and opposite from the structure that houses the other
three apts, it was probably once the mill's floodgate used to regulate the water flow. The original water flow has been preserved
and it runs under the floor in the living room, covered by a special
crystal glass you can walk on.
The house has a table and chairs
under the gazebo in the main garden, and it also has a second private furnished space near it that is protected from sight by the gar-
den hedges.
Access is up one step into the living/dining room with kitchen
corner carved in Carrara marble and it has two electric hobs, a
Washbasin, and a fitted fridge with small freezer. There is a
microwave oven, toaster and kettle. A spiral steel and wood staircase (66 cms wide), leads up to the first floor with double bed,
satellite TV and sliding door to its ensuite bathroom with washbasin, shower stall and WC.
There is a balcony with access from the bedroom that overlooks
the intemal garden.
The upper floor has also preserved the lattice-
Slylâ brick windows original to the structure. Well equipped and
furnished with an interesting combination of modern pieces in a
Wally unique setting, it has parquet floors, wood beams and cotto
ceihngs. Central heating is with electricity which is payable on
consumption during heating season.
